Ingredients:

  • 8 sheets of rice paper
  • 4 mozzarella cheese sticks
  • 1 tsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped shallot and garlic
  • 1 Boiled egg
  • Sesame seeds
  • Green onion

    Sauce:
  • 1 cup water
  • 1½ tbsp gochujang
  • 1 tsp gochugaru
  • ½ tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice syrup
  • 1 tsp sugar

How to make:

Here we go!

  • In the recipe, halve the four mozzarella cheese sticks.
  • Next, briefly dip the rice paper into lukewarm water for 1-2 seconds, and quickly place it onto a flat surface.
  • Position one of the halved cheese sticks in the center of the rice paper and commence folding.
  • Begin by rolling the rice paper towards the cheese, then fold in the sides, and lastly, roll the rice paper all the way to the end, ensuring it’s wrapped tightly.
  • Double on the sheets for thicker texture
  • Tkeokbokki sauce
  • Now for the sauce, on the medium pan over high heat, put in minced garlic, chopped shallot, and gochujang. Saute for 1 mins.
  • Then add Gochugaru, soya sauce, rice syrup, sugar
  • Next, quickly add water or Dashi broth, then stir until well combined.
  • Once sauce bubbles, add in the rice paper Tteokbokk and bring it back to boil again. Cook until the rice paper Tteokbokki are tender and remove from heat immmediately
  • Next, add your shredded morazellla cheese.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds and dont forget to top it up with a boiled egg
